We hosted a Catch & Release Fishing Event here at RAFT Ranch for kids of all abilities! Fishing not only teaches one how to survive in the wilderness, but it helped develop motor skills! We had fun sensory friendly activities that included painting, bean bag toss, music, bird handling, trampolines & more!
Kids were the "reel winners" baiting their hooks and catching lot's of joy! The kids that weren't into gutsy worms and fishing, we had a smorgasbord of sensory-friendly fun, from Picasso-style painting and bean bag tossing to jamming out with music, befriending birds, bouncing on trampolines, and rock painting! Can't wait to do this one again!
